We don't need Dunn. We don't need Troy's coach. We don't need South Alabama's coach.

We need somebody that has experience coaching in a major conference. Pawlowski was a world-beater at College of Charleston, but it takes a different brand of baseball to be successful in the power conferences.

Granted, I don't know what kind of coaches those guys are and what their styles are, but if we hire one of these small-school coaches, I feel like we'll be in the exact same position in four years.

First, seeing a recruit as yoru avi makes me think it is TTsTowel all the time. It is frustrating.

Second, let's fire PowPow before we even begin to think of a coaching search.

Maybe Tim Hudson and Frank Thomas will be on the search committee for baseball

What are the odds we still make the tournament? Must win consultation games for a shot?

We still have a shot. Ellitor says we have stats on our side. Several tourney predictions have us in. I think it really just depends on how the other bubble teams perform over the next couple days. We have at least a puncher's chance.

Honestly, we have ducked up lots of opportunities to make a regional. I'll take it if we get selected, but it would be an unearned gift.

1. I am a Prattville Grad. Shouldn't I be able to publicly show pride in my boys being Auburn commits? 2. I did not start the fire Paw Paw subject. I just replied to it.

The problem with that is Auburn can't lure in a Coach from a bigger school. Auburn tried to get Tim Corbin from Vandy but Corbin turned us down. Our best shot is to get a hot coach from a lower conference and hope his success continues here or get an assistant at a big school who has been instrumental to elite success and hope it works.

It's not like we'd do anything in the regional anyway.

John Pawlowski never hesitated before and after a 6-3 loss to Alabama when asked Tuesday if Auburn should be in the NCAA Tournament.

"Absolutely," he repeated after the loss to the Tide.

- Finished below .500 in SEC play
- Lost a sweep of Florida 100% because of poor coaching re: pitching
- Midweek loss to Jax State before our final SEC series, while on the bubble for regionals
- Knocked out of the SEC tournament, in the first round, as a #10 seed, due to the same poor coaching that plagued us not only at Florida, but the entire season

And he's going to say we "absolutely" deserve a spot at a regional? This team has no fire in them and it's a complete reflection of the head coach.

As mediocre as this team is, he is 100% correct when compared to the other bubble teams' resumes.
