agreed... i'm done with paw, regardless of if we make the tournament (we don't deserve to make it).

i'm ready for a team that's fundamentally sound.

Maybe he was still in shock over leaving the pitcher in during that 9th inning UF meltdown.

Any thoughts on his replacement?

Not that Jacobs has the balls to do anything about it.

I dont think we go to postseason. We really needed this win. Hope Im wrong not sure what the committee is going to say unless they really liked the way we finished the season with 3 series wins.

Auburn isn't going to hit a lick in postseason anyway. Might as well not make it and fire Paw.

Our play in clutch moments is just horrible under Paw.

I'm pretty pissed right now with AU losing at almost every sport

Both golf teams are at nationals!

I'm going to wipe this entire academic year from my memory when it comes to Auburn athletics.

Time to get excited about Gus turning the bus around on the football field.

Pawlowski sucks.

I was less concerned with the coaching moves and more concerned on the overall team demeanor. Watch Alabama come out of the dugout then watch Auburn. Lazy. Undisciplined. Those are the two things I took away from today's game.

(I watched my second full Auburn baseball game today. Just commentating on what I saw.)

That's called coaching. A team is a reflection of its coach.

Pawlowski needs to be gone.

My first 2 thoughts are the coaches at Troy or South Alabama. Both are battling to be a region host.

ETA: The Troy coach. They are 9th in the nation in fielding.

No thank you! Samford has only made the NCAAs 1 time in his 9 seasons there. If he was really good he should be owning the Southern Conference.

Did I read correctly that we've given up 56 unearned runs this year?

I thought Coach Paws was a fantastic hire and he had me firmly supporting him after winning the West in 2009, but this program needs a fresh start.

Did Jacobs act true to form and provide Coach with a huge buyout last year?

It's worse than that. The number is 66. And poor Kendrick, almost 25% of those unearned runs came with him on the mound. He gave up 19 earned runs this season while the D gave up 15 unearned behind him.

"Casey Dunn was named Samford's head baseball coach in August 2004.

Under his leadership,
-Bulldogs have posted 30-plus wins in five of the last six seasons.
-In 2011, the Bulldogs finished third in the prestigious Southern Conference, and they reached the finals of the SoCon Tournament, finishing one win short of the first NCAA Tournament appearance in program history.
-The team won a school-record 37 games in 2011.
-In just his second season as head coach, he took the baseball team from not qualifying for the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament to being the league's regular-season champion and the top seed in the league's postseason tournament.
-The team won a then-school record 34 games, and Dunn was named the OVC's Coach of the Year.
-Dunn followed up the success of 2006 with a second-straight winning season in 2007, marking the first time Samford posted back-to-back winning seasons in more than 40
years

Still only 1 NCAA appearance in 9 years, Bottom line. The Troy coach has been much better during the same period.
