JJ can already make throws the other 2 only dream about.
Agreed. I'd like to see him developed the right way and for long term. I'd really hate to see him shellshocked by SEC defenses as a true freshman.

if JJ wins I hope its because the staff sees him as the best option and not just because they want to rush him onto the field.
look what happened when they rushed Kiehl JJ is nothing like Kiehl, but still don't rush him onto the field

I'm willing to bet 1 million internet dollars that Frazier will be on the top of the depth chart when it comes out in a week or 2 and he will stay there until someone else proves they can complete a pass greater than 30 yards down field against a slightly below average SEC defense.
If Malzahn is honest with himself, Kiehl Frazier will be 3rd or 4th string going into our first game. Neither he or Wallace looked great in the A-Day, but Wallace blew him away in terms of performance, which isn't saying much. Frazier looked exactly the same as he did during the season last year (inaccurate, staring down one receiver, etc.). It amazing how bad he is considering the hype he had coming out of high school.
Frazier shouldn't be anywhere near the starting job. If he is, then my dislike for Malzahn's hiring will grow even stronger.

When has the Mocha Nightmare proved he can do this? Unless you are counting throwing it to the other team 30 yards down field as a completion.

Brannigan has a point. Frazier hasn't completed a long pass against an SEC defense ever.
Supposedly Jonathan Wallace has made a couple long completions in scrimmages.
My money is on Wallace until Nick Marshall comes to town

I expected Kiehl Frazier to do better than last year being he is back in the offense he has ran his whole life but he looked terrible. Neither QB looked impressive, we need Nick Marshall or Jeremy Johnson to step up and be a player if not we are doomed.

There is a reason Trickett is visiting today.

Yeah because Craig coached him and knows he's better than the two WRs we have playing QB

FTR I'm hoping JJ earns the starting job but the thought of watching your head explode if KF is named the starter puts that option a close 2nd.

I feel like a few people here may lose it if we have to see another season of the mocha nightmare.

He left around 6pm yesterday FWIW.
