lets face it. We all have our favorite Qb but in the end, we just want the guy to win us a natty, sec or just give auburn the best chance of winning every game

I can honestly say whatever is the right decision I am confident Gus will make it 4 games too late.

I'm seeing a rotation of Joey, Bo, Cord, and Wil Appleton. 
Seriously, I think it's Gatewood because:
- If your options are a true freshman or a RS freshman, you tend to go with the (slightly) older and more experience player.
- Gatewood has a reputation as a better runner. Not much running for the QBs at A-Day which may be why Nix looked as good or better.
- As a true freshman and legacy Auburn player, Bo will not transfer if he does not get the job. Joey would (understandably).
So, if it's close to a push, Gatewood gets the call. That's not to say that Bo cannot win the job, but he would have to show the he is very clearly and demonstrably stronger and a better fit with the O.

I believe too it will be Gatewood b/c as someone posted, he is the most experienced only bc of his time w/ the practices, and he did play some in the bowl game.
If he can make the right decisions on passing plays, and when the play breaks down we will be alright with him.
If he struggles, get's the deer in headlights look, then Nix will have to play bc we can run more sophisticated pass plays w/ him (Did i just say Gus has complex pass plays on his playsheet? Oh oh...we will see)!!

No Auburn fan is convinced we WON'T have a 7-5 season.
Nonetheless, I think Gus still has the ability to put together impressive offenses, and with a solid D that could mean a competitive season. His back is against the wall, so I somewhat expect him to do what has been successful rather than whatever would best prove to the world the genius of his offensive philosophy.

The word on the street in Auburn is that Gatewood would be the starter if the game was tomorrow.
I have seen very little hype about Auburn's season or the QBs. The only hype I have seen is about the Dline.
But to help some folks out, I think ALL Auburn fans see us going 15-0, with either Gatewood or Bo winning the Heisman.

Good. The less positive information that gets "leaked" out of this staff, the better. I'm so tired of hearing about how amazing Player X is all offseason, then they hardly see the field
