I go to the beach every Labor Day weekend to celebrate the end of the dog days and the beginning of football season. My fave holiday of the year.

Should be leaving between today and Tuesday. Not sure how long we will stay, and that is the beauty of FloraBama!

Gulf of course. Anna Maria island / Holmes beach.

My body is ready to do this. Been on our radar for 20 years. Its time to pull the trigger.

My wife and I ride our bikes from our house to the Island almost every weekend. Are you looking for waterfront? Good luck in finding your place!

Man I would love that but I dont think our budget will handle that. I want to buy this place right out and have no mortgage.... Im probably going to be a few blocks from the beach side.. Unless things line up.

You can still get on the water depending upon what you want to spend but may not be on the island. There are still spots on the river that can be cost effective with easy access to the gulf or bays. You may also want to look at NW Bradenton area if you like parks, kayaking, biking etc. Less expensive than the island and highly rentable area. There are many moving off the island due to the high amount of the rentals going on changing the island feel. Just a thought. Good luck in finding your new dwelling.

Great info. Thanks. We are talking with a agent down there and she also recommended the Bradenton area. We are looking there as well....
