Total offense should rise in the next few weeks. Only 48 yards separate Auburn and the 25th ranked offense.

We also played the best D in the nation already.

He's in a persistent state of pessimism.

24 could be in a room full of naked Victoria Secret models wanting to please him and wouldn't be able to get a boner.
Now put him in a room full Texas A&M milk man cheer leaders and it's a different story.

Michigan has the best D if you look at stats (both in yards per game and yards per play). Of course, I don't know how good the B1G offenses are, though.
But Bammer is #1 where it really counts: Points allowed. Auburn is like 3rd in that statistic.

Random other stats.
In the SEC Auburn is:
#2 in scoring TDs in Redzone.
Scoring 90% of the time in the redzone.
#2 in 3rd down conversions, 47.44%, Bama #1 at 50%
#2 in defense 4th down conversions
#2 in defense redzone conversions
Dead last in sacks allowed. 18. Compared to Bama 4.
#2 tackles for a loss

I get that. And I saw that as a weak auburn team as well and frankly it probably was a weak team.
But then look at Clemson, tired 7-7 in the 4th against Boston college who is now 1-3.
Some teams are real slow to get going.
So I propose all auburn cupcake games in the month of September until the offensive "genius" figures stuff out. Then 15-0.

Total offense we weren't hurting in the Mercer game. Think we almost cracked 500 yards.

I'm riding shotgun on the Bus, but this stat is the KJKPcat vs teams with average at best defenses.
I would love nothing more than the 90% to be legit but I'm not sure we're there yet.
