I know we are 2 weeks out but doesn’t this seem surprising?

I know it's customary for them to leave en masse during their home games, but are they preemptively leaving a game with potentially two top ten teams?

Really wish it wasn't a 2:30 game

It’s a trend that I think a lot of teams are going to see. Games are as expensive as they’ve ever been (tickets, travel, food, drinks, etc) at a time that the home viewing experience has never been better (which has always been true, but I can basically step into my TV and curse out the ref in 3D without getting punched in the face).

There’s something irreplaceable about being on campus for game day that TV can never replace but I think your average fan has less incentive now to go to as many games as they previously did.

I’m really glad we didn’t expand JH

This.

I'd much rather be comfortable at a tailgate, with tailgate food and friends for games like Arkansas or Mississippi St

The tickets that are available are terrible seats. better to watch from home than sit in an upper deck.

Stadiums will get smaller over time. Wish Auburn would put in permanent chair backs, etc.

Good seats are still expensive on Stubhub, etc.

I’ve got an unpopular opinion... I hope JHS never changes. There’s a reason it’s one of the best home field advantages in all of college football... and it’s not bc you’re pussy arse needs a damn chair back.

If you need a chair back, stay our old, cripple, no standing arse at home... and let the people who will stand, yell and yell to their horse folks have them.

If you want the stale experience of an nfl stadium, become a bama fan.

I just think you will see more permanent seats in the future. Easy enough to get a chair back.

They are good for keeping people from infringing on your bleacher area.

I sure never made a big fuss about going to OHS away games...but then we stunk when I was in school, so probably played into it.

I’d go to every big game of the year if I could afford it. But season tickets are expensive considering you need to donate per seat. Buying on StubHub has gotten ridiculous since ticket holders are trying to make a ton of money off games. People are dumb enough to pay the money I guess.

Add in travel time, food, and gas, and it’s just not worth it for my family.
