It all boils down to having an SEC QB that can help win those close games.

I am leary w a totally inexperienced QB to provide that needed Leadership and skill to help us win those close games.

so an 8 win season is the best I see.... unless a strong QB making plays comes forward.

I'll pull a Georgia and say we go 10-2. When you ask me what 2 losses, I can't name them. Because really 15-0. But I dont want the argument so I say 10-2.

It’s more about the OL than qb imo... good OL means typical Gus running game... makes things much easier on whoever is qb. Just not sure we can get there.

I don't know guys, there really isn't one area of the team I'm really confident in next year outside of maybe WR. Add that to our schedule and I think 8 wins is doing pretty well, 9 tops.

We are in the same place. I really do not have a great feeling about any of our positions

Running Back? - 1 guys who is mediocre to decent against good defenses.
Quarterback - Whatever
OLine - It has to be better than early this year.
DLine - Lots of shifting and new guys so we just dont know
Linebackers? - New bodies
Secondary? - Maybe my most confident as far as talent goes
WR - Hope they are not used much

I think it will be very similar to this year. With no proven QB and it appears we will be continuing with this style of offense, I dont see us dominating anyone on offense. Defense will need to pull the load and there will be a lot of new guys back there.

I could certainly see us winning against Oregon but having a very hard time against the better SEC teams with so many changes. Texas AM, Bama,Florida, UGA, LSU will all be tests.

7-5 likely
8-4 Ceiling

It looks like 8 wins with a decent qb and oline play. With a good qb and oline play, I think 9 wins. With either a) bad qb play or b) below average oline --- that looks like 7 wins including a bowl.

All that being said, I certainly would not pencil in Oregon as a loss.

Coe already staying, and Marlon is pretty set to return to prove that he can play 3-tech. He won't be an edge in the NFL

Boobie has potential to be great if he can stay healthy. Shivers will become a force. Kam Martin looked good against Purdue. He will be much better next year as the change of pace back while Boobie is the workhorse instead of reverse.

Really? Already have great players there, plus if we FINGERS CROSSED get Pickens, we are studs.

QB Gatewood

My bold prediction is Nix is the starter with Gatewood as the wildcat.

I was not super high on him during the year, but it does appear that he has finally figured or how to find a crease and hit it. I think his future is bright

Id like to think that but when our "best" rusher is being discussed like that, It shows the years of poor running back recruiting. Its been a while since we have had a grand slam running back

Not sure why this got a downvote. I'd be thrilled if it worked out like this.
