Winner gets a hat.

I'm gonna say it's an 8 year $35 million deal.

That would put him at 4.375/year which would basically make him the 3rd highest paid coach in all of college basketball. I would say 6 years at 21 million, which would make him roughly the 10th highest paid coach in college basketball.

How ever many years he wants for however much he wants plus bonuses

Do the football coach thing where we over pay but this time for a coach who has built his program

Last year's basketball revenue was 11.2 million. Not sure if that matters but maybe like 3.5 million per year would be my guess. With an increase of 150,000 per year.

Based on last year's revenue figures, we could pay Bruce some $4.5mil and still be in surplus for basketball I'm pretty sure

I imagine moving forward, we should have significantly higher bball revenues as well

Vitale just tweeted out that Bryce Brown will have won 85 games while at Auburn.

If AU wins at least 14 games, McLemore & Harper will leave as the winningest players in AU history

I’d do $42 million over 8 years. $400K for an Elite 8, $500,000 for Final 4, $1,000,000 for winning the NCAAT

I read that the coaching search is north of 100 days now. They’re beyond desperate. And apparently their coaches cannot fly charter for recruiting reasons. Why touch it?

Also, aren’t they hamstrung in scheduling teams within the United States over political (bathroom) reasons? Bruce would be an idiot to take the job.

8 year, $39 million. $4 million in year 1, with an $250,000 bump in salary every year. And of course some type of performance bonus

Well, the rumors are Tenner just went all in and gave Barnes $4.7/yr. I can't find a legit article on it, but if that's true, then we're going to have to keep it close to them.

All depends on if that's what Bruce wants. There are non personal comp benefits we can offer

- Increase assistant salary pool $ (son on staff)
- Public apology / support statement from Leath
- More strict termination for cause language
- Facility improvement commitment
- Increased support staff
- Increased marketing/promotional budget
- Improved bball logistics (travel, accomodations, food etc)

- Pearl Legacy planning regarding arena/court/statue
