Considering this states stance on alcohol it doesn't surprise me in the least. God forbid someone see you sitting outside in the open drinking a cold one.

I didn't read it that way. The no sells by vendors in seating areas lead me to believe that alcohol would not be allowed in the seats.
LOLOL no

How does Bama not selling make it any better?

This will be a 2020 initiative. LSU will start tomorrow...

I think Auburn is going to have to expand the upper deck concourse (at least somewhere down the line) to properly accommodate beer kiosks. The lines up there are already absurd and make it impossible to walk. Adding a couple beer kiosks up there as well will be a nightmare. Those lines will be never ending.

Not really enough time to get that set up by September.
That doesn’t seem likely. When they’ve held concerts in JH beer carts were everywhere.

If they wanted to make it happen, they definitely could make it happen.
Maybe they want to wait a year to see how things play out for everybody else

OT: Marcello mentioning that there are murmurs that a donor that promised a large sum of money is backing out of FOF donations after the abortion bill. Politics meets sports here. Looking at you Tim Cook.
Also, during our biggest recruiting visit in the offseason, Leath is a tone deaf idiot for telling everyone there are no plans to discuss construction of the facility.

Possible but a reporter mentioning a rumor is not reporting.

While true, this is disingenuous. He said there were no plans to discuss it in next week's quarterly meeting. He didn't say there were no plans to discuss it.

To be fair to Marcello, he made this known. Just relaying a rumor that he laid out as such. He said the tone in discussion of the fundraising has shifted drastically within the last “few short weeks.”

Still, we have been pushing it back for how long now? We were just told we were “really really close” and now he has to say this during our biggest recruiting event. Why? Just don’t say anything at all.

By the way General Motors went from making cars to making airplane parts in 5 months during WW2. But we don't have enough to set up alcohol sales.
To be fair, any company ever wants to produce something for wartime efforts if they can. You can mark up prices astronomically.

They are also, in many cases, conscripted. This was a poor analogy.

I really can't stand this dumb mother fricker. Instead of playing it cool, he immediately goes out and says ZERO chance of alcohol sales in JHS in 2019. He could've addressed it much more pleasantly and said "we're reviewing options."
And never forget he tried to fire Bruce Pearl.

I absolutely agree. Hell, a month before kickoff say it's not feasible then the week of the Georgia game announce it's been figured out.
But Leather has not shown me he knows how to strategically communicate.

This is stupid group think.
Would you want your boss to string you along instead of telling you the truth?

That would have triggered the hell out of some people. "Indecisive" "Cant figure out shite". It would have been a shite storm of another color
Alcohol sales at a college football game is a very dividing thing. You have to sit back for a second and think about everyone involved, especially in the south. You can not just cater to the ones of you who want to slam beers at the games now. There are more involved.
So many people want to criticize the ones in charge of things. Its not just about you and what you want. It is about everyone in all. There is probably a lot more to this than some of you think.
