Was he the one with a recent ACL injury?
Nvmd. I see it. Yes, he’s already had two previous ACL injuries...

I don’t know which knee this is for Troxel this time but he tore his right ACL and MCL his senior year of HS and tore the same ACL the year before that as well.
They initially though he just had the meniscus tear at A-Day.

He can’t catch a break. He may hang up football since his knee braces aren’t keeping his ligaments together.

Yeah. I said this in the recruiting thread but I don’t think Troxell keeps on weight well. Even if he comes back from this he’s going to be behind on conditioning. This might be it for him

I'm hopeful that Horton can get back to where he was before last year, but I'm still not sold on Kim at all.
Our OT depth is gone now that Trox is hurt and with as many injures as he's had its not out of the question that he doesn't fully recover. I'm glad Grimes feels good about the starters, but we're in trouble if anyone gets hurt.
Thinking about our potential starters after this year is scary.

OT depth is bad.
But as I said in the recruiting thread- the JUCO OT Buskey will probably take over at LT. RT will be a mystery and there’s potential for a freshman to come in and win that easily now. The competition will be Sammons and Stutts.
Agreed on Kim. I think Brahms takes over there this season sometime. But we’ve actually recruited the interior OL and shifted other bodies there.
To fill two spots in the middle, we’ll have Hamm, Irvin, Jones, Osborne, Bell, Alec Jackson, and Tashawn Manning all with at least one year of positional experience. Not too concerned there but that lineup isn’t murderer’s row either

I'm not entirely sold on Brahms either, but I do think he will end up better than Kim.
I like Buskey, but the only reason why he probably takes over at starter is because we don't have anyone else lol. I wish we could play him at RT, but we will probably play LT for us. There's still no guarantee he can just step in and play though. There's a big jump from JUCO to SEC starter.
I like the talent at OG, but they are all young and/or inexperienced.

I think Osborne and Jackson are both going to be OTs. We don't have much choice.

This is the only reason I think this season doesn’t go well for us.

This, and I hope they get some playing time this year, they sure gonna need it for the following year. And heaven forbid we have a tackle go down this year, the bright side is we will get to see the running ability of our QBs!
If Brahms can stop breaking his legs we will see his true potential this year. Last year, as soon as his leg is healed we put him in, the fella's legs were probably about 60% of full strength, its no wonder he was getting pushed around.
Just like the last two years, for the life of me I dont see why some quality OTs would not be salivating to come here looking at our situation next year.

Well for one, we have an Oline coach that can't recruit for shite. The other is we haven't had many linemen drafted lately, but that's probably due to the first thing I stated.
