Auburn Tigers freshman running back JaTarvious Whitlow turned some heads during Saturday’s performance against Alabama State. Whitlow, who goes by “Boobee,” picked up 122 yards on 14 carries during the 63-9 win.

Unfortunately, Whitlow also fumbled. And it wasn’t his coaches who were the most upset about that development, it was his mother.

Whitlow’s mom made him do 50 pushups for fumbling during the game.

They should hire her as a coach and make other players who fumble, defensive players who miss tackles and other assignments, quarterbacks who throw picks, and players who have a penalty during the game do something like this.

We had a lot of young ball carriers fumble. Hope those players had to pay the price in practice as well.

Mario Fannin would have been ready to join the Navy Seals if he had a mother like that

I saw her walking around the stadium before the game wearing a "Boobee's Mom" shirt

But our fake insider said that Boobee wouldn’t see the field this year because he went home to see momma too much

Momma is basically an extra coach in the home.

Idgaf if he didn’t fully live up to the hype Mario is still one of my favorite to ever suit up.

I like that.

One of my favorite scenes in "Glory Road" about UTEP's NC run, was when a players momma came to straighten her boy out at school.

And some dude over the summer thought Whitlow was slacking off because of frequent trips home to Mom during the summer.

So she needs a jersey with Whitlow's number with "My Boobees" across the back?

Boobee probably dreaded going home because he had to run stadiums. I’m pretty sure his mom would’ve let him go at eight years old to the Spartan training academy. Sounds to me he’s better off staying at school and not having to go home and run stadiums, tired drills, push-ups, and eat red meat by the pounds.

So? He grew up close enough that if he really wanted to be could probably stay living with his mom and commute

But I thought it was bc he fumbled too many times in a closed scrimmage or something?
