Do you realize how many teams get in the tourney?

Garrisons thread is pinned and it’s like shooting fish in the barrel.

Refs were awful but we had no business winning that one. Extremely careless with the ball

We won't make it past day one. Way to go. Great year for Auburn basketball.

Historically, you’re correct. This is objectively an elite year for auburn basketball.

Rebounding and turnovers costs us this game. End of story. Without Wiley we can’t compete with other teams #1 big man. LSU killed us in the boards all game, but they had 4 second chance points in the final 2 minutes when we really couldn’t afford it.

Turnovers is what we do on the road. Kills us. 15 3’s is the only reason the game was close down the stretch.

We will be fine going into to the tournament especially if Wiley can get back healthy. We have lost 3 games down where we had a shot in the final minute. Maybe we will finally break through in March and win a close game.

Someone said the team was getting better. I dont agree. Playing worse

Cant beat a team with a pulse. Blowing big leads is on the coach.

We're more than halfway through Bruce's 5th year.

We seem to always be "outsized".

Why?

If other SEC squads like UGA and LSU and even god-forsaken Vandy can get "size", why can't Bruce Pearl get Auburn some "size"?

Is the answer just that "size" isn't part of Pearl's system? If so, everybody needs to STFU about "size".

Well if playing worse, to you, means a 4 game stretch with 3 blowout wins and a close loss on the road against a ranked team, then I don’t know what to tell you. You’re beyond talking to at that point.

They won the last three before today by a combined 69 points.

Team was playing better at the beginning of the year. This is not the same team that played in Hawaii.

Team totally sucks on the road and has not beaten any good teams other than UF who is not great.

Beating up on bad teams does not prove a thing. Sorry but the results speak for themselves. Bruce has been here long enough to build better if he is as good as we thought. Todays loss after being up so much was bad.

Lol, if you want to be pissed off about losing by 5 on the road against a really good team then I’m not gonna stop you.

I’m enjoying the glory days of auburn basketball.

“Bruce has been here long enough to build better if he is as good as we thought.”

I don’t understand how Gus defenders can say this without a twitch.

Harper easily outplayed him offensively.

Im not bashing him but at some point, he needs to produce these important wins. We have plenty of talent right now. We are just very disorganized.

Was that when he kept making bad passes and giving the ball away

I agree that we need to pull out some of these road wins. The turnovers are inexcusable from upperclassmen. That ultimately lost the game. We’re still not getting killed in NET ratings since these are close losses. It’s been frustrating for sure though.
