If he goes in the 3rd round he can expect about 4year 4million contract. Not chump change. And with the rookie pool set up in the NFL now its not much better until you get into the first round, which I doubt he will be if he stays another year, and he is still stuck with a 4yr deal.
The average career, if you are drafted, and make the first year, is about six years, and he aint getting any younger by staying another year, he probably is gone, Id sure like to keep him.
