I’ve been working on getting the baby’s room ready. Auburn family extends by 1 next month.

Closing on first house tomorrow. Wiring the money for the down payment caused me severe paranoia. Didn’t know certified checks weren’t universally accepted for closing.

We are in Orlando this week for the ICAST fishing show.. The show does not start till Wednesday. We are about to head to the convention center now to set up. If we can get it all done today, we are headed over there tomorrow to spend the day.
We have actually started looking a little off the island over on Bradenton right on the bay. Obviously we can get more house for the buck over there. Possibly going to look for a house on the bay and also buy a condo on the island. That is a new plan we are playing with.
Hope we get this all done today so we can go play tomorrow..

Will be totally broke afterward. We will be back to homemade beanie weenies, mac and cheese and cheap tequila afterwards. Full circle

Same here. I just closed on some land a few months ago and I didn't like having to wire the money either plus my bank charged me $25 to wire the money. Certified checks are as good as cash so I don't know what the problem is.

Do you have someone lined up to buy the biz?
Posted on 7/8/19 at 10:25 am to LanierSpots
Yep, you can get some awesome rental houses in orlando for vacation. We are going to Orlando/Disney in September and we paid 2000 for a week in an 8 bedroom house with a pool.
(taking grown kids, grandkids, etc.)
