Leath did set back our football program several years, we are stuck with Gus a few more years and then a new coach has to come in and rebuild the program so we are looking at 4-5 years to fix this mess. I'm on the fire Leath and Gus bandwagon.

Don't worry. We are planning on devaluing football and focusing on academics. Taking the Ga Tech model. Triple option here we come!

And if we're going to get a gimmick offense to replace Gus's gimmick offense, then I vote hire Mike Leach and run the Air Raid. If we had Mike Leach then we should do joint press conferences with The Pirate and Bruce just for the lulz

If Auburn could even come close to GaTech's academic level, I'd vote to scrap our football program today.
We don't need to be greedy about offseason sports as a #BasketballSchool

My spouse had an encounter with Leath and he was an arrogant a-hole. He was walking around the tailgates a few games ago. Wasn’t impressed when he was hired and definitely not impressed now.

You keep your hands off Mike!!! He has made WSU football great again and the Apple Cup fun again. These boys would cry if Mike was the coach, first thing he did at WSU was install a sand pit because he thought they were too soft. He worked them daily in the sand pit and ran off alot of players and built up from there.

we could've had him in 2008 when we ran off tubs. but his religious views didn't mix with the majority around Auburn. if I remember correctly Leach studies scientology and christianity and most auburn fans weren't too happy with the possibility of someone like that coaching auburn football

The guy essentially threw a religious coronation ceremony to welcome himself as the new AU president. Buddy of mine works at Auburn and said it was the most self-centered ridiculous display of aggrandizement he’d ever seen.
