I pay very little attention to west coast football. This is the first time I have seen Oregon play. I have seen numerous people say Oregon is a sure loss. I don't get it.

Is Herbert one of those scary good college players or just one of those solid college players who is a good pro prospect (like Darnold, Locker, Mallett, etc)? I haven't seen him play even once.

The latter imo. Oregon is recruiting good, but they aren't near as dangerous as when we played them for the NT

Has the size (6'6") the pros like. He has a 59% completion percentage this year. He's 56% as of right now in the bowl game.

They are super young and are returning a lot of stuff and bringing in a great class. It's not a sure loss but it will be a competitive game

Bowl games can be misleading... to say the least.
With that said, I don’t get the Mario Christobal hype... yesterday, he was the leading candidate for the maimi job... why?... bc he recruits well?... I blind monkey could pull in top 10 classes at UM. Christobals record as a head coach, and his reputation as a position coach, leaves a lot to be desired.
