Put in my two weeks notice and next thing I know my employer cuts off all access to my files and doesn’t even respond to my resignation. Awesome start to my day!!

Are you a sports agent forming your own company?

I saw a movie where a guy did that and am curious.

As long as they pay out your two weeks notice, you’re good.

I had that happen one time. Left one company for a competitor. They escorted me out of the building and didn't even let me say goodbye to anyone.

Haha.. I agree. But cheer up Thai, look at adversity as an opportunity to improve. There is something there to learn through it, if you’re willing to face it, that will make you wiser moving forward because of it. Take it as a challenge, think about what there is to learn and make the adjustment. Things in the future will be better than the past, as long as you’re willing to grow... and stop being such an a-hole.

A lot of companies do that to keep you from downloaded confidential/sensitive information. they may still expect you to come to work.

Pretty common in my line of work. In our case the 2 weeks pay are usually provided but access to building, files and company property is immediately terminated.

Have box will travel.

The problem is that I am unable to work without access to my files.
