Passing over Bobby Petrino for another Gene Chizik would be a huge mistake, though.

That being said, in order of how I'd like them hired, I'd take:

1) Gary Patterson
2) Paul Rhoads
3) Bobby Petrino
4) Charlie Strong

Aside from 2010, since 2008, we've gone 5-7, 8-5, 8-5, and are currently sitting at 1-4. That's just not up to Auburn's standards. I feel like this season has been going for 15 years already and it's just getting started.

I am getting tired of the bitching about Trooper.

And even more specifically and to the point, I am getting really tired of Aubies picking up the dumbshit gump (sorry nite) talking points about us.

Those ignorant asshats often talk shite about our guys because they are good at what they do and they don't like it. Trooper is a PERFECT example. Great recruiter that the kids love. Good speaker as well with great stories about his family, growing up, and life. You notice now the idiots have piped down however since some seem to think he is not doing a good job coaching our WRs. The gumps do not see him as such a threat so they are not running their mouths about him nonstop.

Then when Aubies start bashing our own for no reason and just mirroring the gump talking points it is really starting to get annoying.

Pat Dye is another example. I see Aubies spouting off the gump talking points and slamming the best coach we have ever had. Infuriates me.

Are you kidding me? He's been a coach since 1985, thats 27 years, and the longest he's ever stayed on a job has been 4 years. Look at his coaching resume and see how many 1-2 year jobs he's had, he's a guy thats made a career of looking for the "next job". He's seemingly coached at 1/3rd of the programs in the country. What makes him a job-jumper is the way in which he operates: he is a complete lying sleeze-bag. There is absolutely no other way to go about it. This guy would go behind his own mother's back if it meant landing himself the next big job. He was a key conspirator behind Jet-Gate; going behind his own AD's back before the season was even over. He then spent the next few seasons secretly chasing other bigger-name jobs behind Louisville's back all the while telling everyone that Louisville was where he wanted to be. Five days after signing a contract extension with Louisville he was interviewing for the LSU job. In 2006 he signed a 10-year deal with Louisville, made a huge deal about his commitment, and literally 6 months later he was announced as the HC of the Atlanta Falcons. What happened in Atlanta? The dude quit halfway through the season hours after a game without telling anyone...not his players, not his coaches, and not even the ownership. They lost and he was on his way signing a contract with Arkansas. The guy left a NOTE as he disappeared in the middle of the night. This came after he had met with Arthur Blank and confirmed his commitment to the team. We all know what happened with Arkansas...Petrino's initial reaction to the scandal? More lies. Thats what he does: he lies.
