Given where we are now, I am glad we have Chip Lindsey.
While I will stay optimistic about Stidham being a Jedi-level QB, I am concerned about Stidham and White staying injury-free. Hopefully, there's a lot of QB development going on right now with Woody and Malik.

Good. Don't just hand anyone the job. Need a culture of competition instead of Gus trotting out his favorites while good players rude the bench.

IMO Malik Willis will be our best backup QB, although I don't think we'll toss him out there this year should Stidham come off the field.

Why do you think WB will be backup? Why will it not be SW if he is not named the starter?
And I guess Malzahn will not name a starter in the spring bc White will not be full strength to compete?

JS will barely beat out SW. WB will be third string. MW will redshirt. JF3 and TQ will be fantastic clipboard holders.
Do we even have room to take 2 qbs this cycle? If we do we would have 7 scholarship QBs. That is poor roster management.

i could be wrong but I dont think Gus can afford for Stidham not to be the guy. We have seen the Sean White show and we know where that is going. A lot of hype around Stidham. I think he is the guy for now.
I love Barretts upside and Malik Willis will have his chance. I just dont see it being this year.

Somebody will end up leaving. Very surprised that JF3 didn't. It's either Queen or Barrett. If woody ends up third sting after spring camp this year, I could see him leaving. He doesn't have the upside that Malik does.

I wouldn't go that far on Woody vs Malik. I would assume Queen is gone after this year for sure. JF3 possibly or at least moved to another position.

I have been buying stock in Malik Willis since he come to Auburn but lets be honest, we have zero idea what Woody Barrett can do or what his ceiling is.

I personally see more upside in MW.
