Gus's class or Chizik's potential class (pre-3-9)

One of my big concerns about Gus was recruiting. He put that to rest today. I actually think this group of coaches is better at least recruiting wise than the last one. Chizik could recruit but he never closed well. So who's class is better?
Chizik vs. Malzahn
QB Johnson < Johnson and Marshall
RB Green, Artis-Payne = Barber, Ford, Artis-Payne
WR Robinson, Smith < Robinson, Smith, Stevens, Walker, Davis
OL Rodgers < Mix, Danzey
DL Liner, Adams, Lawson, Bower < Adams, Lawson, Daniel, Bradley
LB Foster, Davis, Johnson, Toney > Toney, Flowers
CB Melton, Irvin-Sills > Melton
S Johnson, Matthews < King, Harding, Alexander
That would be 5-2 in Gus's favor.
Chizik vs. Malzahn

I like Malzahn's players more because of their character and leadership potential. I think we have a strong class

Not really a fair comparison. You have no idea how chiz would have finished...

Exactly my thoughts. Pretty big assumption to think we wouldn't have had a Foster or Liner flip with Chiz.

I think that's actually a benefit to Chizik. I gave him Green, Matthews, Adams and others that he probably wouldn't have finished with.

I think Chizik with Luper gets Green.
I think Chizik with Trooper ends with Foster but not Liner, I think Liner was gone no matter what.
The old coaching staff had no chance with Adams with the shite season, he was essentially off the board until we got Garner involved.
I like this class from Gus. There seem to be a few young, over looked kids that want to prove themselves and that is a good thing. The big names are all pretty humble and good kids. This class filled most of our needs, I wish we could have somehow gotten Trey Johnson at middle linebacker and Enzie at corner and I couldn't have wished for a better class.
