I think the overall opinion is that we shouldnt over pay the guy just to keep him....

It is impressive what he has done.....and we are as deep as we have been since the Tub years. Recruiting is going well. I like where we are headed.

changing coaches right now is dumb as frick. Gus isn't elite level but he's pretty damn good, we could do much worse. add to that the whole circus that goes with a new coaching hire and AU doesn't need that right now

Nobody is wanting to fire him. But if he wants to go to Arkansas cause his feelings are hurt then bye. The criticisms of gus are warranted. I hope he stays though.

I don’t understand your point. My position is that we should keep gus but we shouldn’t pay him Saban money to stay.
