As much as common sense tells me, Auburn gets another L this weekend, the contrarian in me thinks we blow Ole Miss out. Take last year for example, we lose to LSU in a game that should have been won, and then go on to beat, no bend over, two #1 teams. Of course, we get killed in the SECCG, then give another team a fictional natty to crow about. The most Auburn thing ever......Gus beats the Hell out of Ole Miss, then beats UGA, and comes down to the wire but falls short against the the evil empire. Gus gets another year, wash, rinse, repeat.

I could see us winning in some ignominious Auburn fashion like a last minute snap over the ole Miss QB's head or tipped ball or something, but there is no way we blow Ole Miss out.

And UGA is going to crush us...

And Alabama will do things to us that are illegal in 46 states. It will not be close. At all.

Well, we should've beat LSU this year, and we saw what LSU did to UGA last week. We beat Ole Miss close, then beat the shite out of UGA. I wouldn't be surprised if that happened in reverse. Who saw us beating UGA & the Sabanites last year?

I also wouldn't be surprised if we lose by 3 tds to Ole Miss and UGA.

Beating Liberty should not be a forgone conclusion.

But that team still believed we could win. They have lost faith in the plan. They no longer believe in the staff's ability to prepare them to win. Only a few games ago, but light years away.

Except even when Auburn has a decent team with Gus, we are only capable of 1 opening drive against UGA in Athens. The offense gets back on the bus with 10 min left in the first quarter.

I think you could be right here. I think the pressure is a good thing for some people. And, wanting to prove people wrong. We saw this last year. We saw it in 2004 with Tuberville. At the same time, every time I have thought we might turn it around this year we come out and play awful.
