He's getting some praise for his first few days of bowl practice. Ryan Davis and Deshaun Davis have both singled him out as a player who has impressed.

I never have faith in an Auburn QB until they play in the games.

If Gus doesn’t play Gatewood the majority of the Bowl, either:
A: He knows he is going for Khalil Tate
B: He is a dumbass

Pretty sure it's the fact that DD is 2 for 2 in calling out players during bowl practices the last two years that have gone on to start in Nick Coe and Boobee Whitlow. He has been right so far.

I’m going to believe in Gatewood. Hope he’s been drinking his Cammy Cam juice.
Edit: I think we need Gatewood to be good as well. Malzahn needs to be in win now mode and I think because of his legs, he can do more than a TF at this point.

We need ANY QB to be good.
Willis, Gatewood, Sandberg, Nix.
I don't care who it is. I just want him to execute the offense and the highest level, and have the ability to extend plays and complete a high percentage of passes to our WRs...

Anyone remember Gatewoods game vs Trevor Lawrence’s Cartersville team early last season?... he looked the part of a top rated high school qb.
