They have sucked at home and on the road for many years. They have a good team and will get better once Michael Porter can play.

That’s an iconic Auburn basketball photo. Our star players should recreate the picture every year in tbe same way the Abbey Road picture is imitated.

haha. Good point. I remember that Barkley photo. Although, Barkley's pizza was a whole lot bigger!

I mean stop digging your own hole and start building your credibility up.

Totally BS by Finebaum.
You mean to tell me, after Tenn failed to win the SEC this year, after losing in the SECT championship last year, after never winning the SECT in 40 year....that Tenn would think beating KY IS their championship?

They get NOTHING for beating them, if they don't finish it w/ winning the SECT against us on Sunday.

We just played fast and very well, and simply outplayed UT with our D, and fast breaks. UT only gave up after they tried to mount comebacks multiple times in the second half, and we answered each one.

Finebaum doesn't know what he is talking about.

Seth Greenberg said that, not Finebaum. Finebaum just tweeted the quote by Seth and let the comments & retweets pile up

Here is the relevant quote from this 2018 Forbes article

quote:

found that the two NBA teams with the strongest home court advantages – and significantly so – were indeed those at the league’s two highest elevations:the Denver Nuggets, followed by the Utah Jazz.

KenPom "Home Court Advantage Rankings"

#2 Colorado (5300+ Ft)
#9 Air Force Academy (6000+ ft)
#11 New Mexico (5300+ ft)
#17 Utah (4200+ ft)
#34 Utah Valley (4700 ft)
#37 Wyoming (7100+ft)
#41 NMSU (3900+ft)

Auburn by comparison is #71

Athletes train in higher altitudes for the enhanced endurance training. Have a hard time believing their conditioning to tbe atmosphere willl have a massive impact though. Our depth is where it needs to be. If our depth players played extremely bad, we’d have a problem..

Who is doing tbe bracket?

Athletes that train at altitude generally do so in order to be better when they’re not at altitude Anyways, it’s almost universally accepted as an advantage so there’s little point in arguing that.

Will it affect the game? Who knows. I’m sure altitude won’t be the difference between the two teams but it won’t help any. We’re far more talented throughout our roster but NMU plays a lot of guys too. We’ll see.

Personally, it doesn’t seem to affect my running pace whether I’m in Denver or Charleston but I’m a bit more comfortable in Charleston.

Any sickle cell trait carriers on our team may not should travel.

Altitude can actually cause them to have crisis similar to sickle cell disease.

I have no idea if any of our players carry the trait, but a plan should be in place just in case.

Sometimes I think you guys are so conditioned to argue that you struggle to recognize when someone is agreeing with you

You condescending bloody vag. Fight me!!!

JK. You ever use the training masks? Would they help? I would never use them in public because I think the ones that do look like try hards.

I’ve never used one and I’m not sure I’ve seen one up here. Might be more dangerous to reduce your ability to intake oxygen while already at elevation

I’ve seen them many times when I lived around 3300 feet above sea level. I don’t think they’re dangerous, maybe not effective enough to look like a straight up tool in public though.

Has there been any explanation on why Bryce and Chuma have the same left bicep tattoo?

One of my new favorite Auburn moments in the first 20 seconds of this video: LINK

Bryce Brown and Horace Spencer embracing each other post game, reminding each other where they came from when they started at AU to end up with 2 rings.
