So was this taken after they got back to Auburn and the tournament? Or is this just an old photo w/ no meaning. :)

A lot of teams were in similar or worse seeding relative to AP Poll. Not sure what you are getting at

Florida St #10-> 4 Seed
Buffalo #15 -> 6 Seed
Wofford #19 -> 7 Seed
Nevada #20 -> 7 seed

I may be wrong.........but I believe that's Round Mound. I seem to remember a pic of Barkley like that.

it's not the 5 seed that pisses me off..........although I think we should have been a four.

The BS part of it..........they are sending us more than half way across the country to play at 12:30 Thursday, after our guys played four games in four days. The 12 seed has region and altitude in their favor.

That’s an iconic Auburn basketball photo. Our star players should recreate the picture every year in tbe same way the Abbey Road picture is imitated.

This is my problem

We are playing an early Thursday game out West at high elevation

.....Against a team from out West whose home court is high elevation and by efficiency/NET rankings is much better than a #12 seed

Would be awesome. Somebody suggest that to one of the players.

80s Domino’s was the best Domino’s. Maybe it’s just faulty recall from my childhood, but I’ll always remember the 80s as their golden age.

One can hardly blame Chuck for indulging.

Hopefully that will put a huge chip on our guys shoulders.

Good thing is they got fricked too. They’re playing against a legit 4 seed.

He doesn’t know when to quit. Last year after our loss to Clemson, he called it embarrassing and said he put more stock into Avery Johnson’s future than Pearl’s. I mean stop digging your own hole and start building your credibility up.

Auburn women's basketball is a 10 seed in the tournament, for whatever that is worth.

Finebaum has made a living off of luke warm takes that generate conversation without (usually) rocking the boat. It works and he’ll keep milking it

FWIW, home base for me is Denver and I travel back to sea level bi weekly. I’ve never had issues with it - even when I first got out here. That being said, the Nuggets are 30-6 at home for a reason . It definitely can have an impact and NMU will be better adjusted. Kind of agree with Pearl - by bigger frustration is that it’s so far from the fan base for the second season in a row.

We swept Tennessee and beat them by 20 in tbe actual championship game. A similar take would’ve been Alabama actually considered Oklahoma their championship game. I know he didn’t actualy say it himself, he only picked that quote to share from the official account.
