tbh hope we make the NCAA tourney and most people seem to think we will and I’m happy

Our finish is extremely important IMO...we can't afford to lose any game we should win. uga, arkie and bama
We probably need to pick up at least one other win from UK, UTk and MSU and maybe a game or two in the tournament. If we don't pick up a game from those three we have to win two in the tourney.

Beating Bama will be tough. Need to beat Arkie and MSU at home, then either Bama or UGA in the road. 9-9 should get us in. We are still ranked high, 24th in NET. UT is a wildcard game. No chance in Lexington.

Why were we never it for the 2019 top player, Watford?
It seems we don't get even in the final 2 of the top players in Alabama since Pearl has been here?
And this guy is 6'9" and a PF? We can use those guys.
Pearl I know is doing a good job of recruiting, but i would think with his enthusiasm and our success w/ him, that top players from our state would want to play for him too, not just guys from GA....

Watford just hasn’t really been interested in us. If bama fires Avery then he likely rules them out too.
Honestly our state is pretty bad at producing talent. I have no problem focusing on GA.

Those top players like Watford/Petty/Lewis have clear Bama ties and choosing Bama over UK/Kansas/Memphis and other top programs

Generally speaking, only 1 person per class is good enough to be a "high value" target from AL and frequently they have UA fandom or N. AL 4hr away vs 1.5hr to ATL
ATL has like 15 kids worth recruiting and we are geographically one of the closes schools
