Was this thread necceary. We were already talking about it in the recruiting thread. Anyway here is some good stuff I just posted over there.

quote:

"You pass by a Krispy Kreme every time you go home, and you're kicking yourself," he joked, but after playing at about 165 pounds two years ago, he figures to check in at "a pretty big 190" by the start of fall camp.

Also. Here is a nice read from Fall camo 2012 LINK

We will ride a wave of J.Wall's heart and grit to victory. No need for any more certainty at QB.

You have to bring this guy in when we have the situation we have. Alabama has nine qbs we could use one more.

Picked this tidbit up from another site and was just confirmed by austudnt23 on TOOS.

CDC has voiced after coaching him (Trickett) for 2 years that he is "miles ahead" of anything we have on campus.

After watching the A-day game, I agree. We don't have a D1 QB on the roster, currently.

Once the starter is named I expect some of the current quaterbacks to tansfer so we won't be sitting with 6 qbs very long.

Don't be surprised of 1 or 2 are moved to WR where depth is lacking if they are team players.

Wow......

At the end of the day, it will be hard for me to question offensive coaching moves by this staff. If they feel they need Trickett, then get him.

Eh the more options the better. I gotta believe between 6 QBs we could find one that can play in this league

Yea and after this year you would think Frazier or Wallace will leave if they don't play.

Frazier and Wallace would be hard pressed to find a scholarship at another school the level of AU. Maybe Frazier to Arkansas State and Wallace to Alabama State something like that. Maybe USF is still interested in Wallace if he transfers, but I doubt it. I'm afraid Kendric Doss ends up the same way. I hope we don't persue.

Yes, it was. Not everyone goes to the Spring / Recruiting thread to get the latest happenings on AU football.

You watched Wallace put some shots to his receivers in the Spring game and you thought "You know... that's an SEC QB right there!"?

Wallace is going to be a more than able back up to Trickett. We don't want Jeremy Johnson to be thrown into the fire, we need him to redshirt. Wallace seems like the perfect backup with his mental makeup. Some people aren't able to just get pluggedinto games and go. Not saying he is going to light people up but he can come in a pinch and hold it together

Frazier hopefully will transfer but his dad moved to Columbus or something so maybe he rides it out?

I think Wallace will stay even if he is not the starter. He seems like a team guy like Kodi Burns.

THe Mocha Nightmare needs to leave. He is a freaking douche in person that needs to take his sorry arse back to Arkansas. What kind of a person leaves a .70 tip on a $40 food bill because "you dont know who I am?" (hearsay but I choose to believe it.)
