If we finished with the #1 basketball recruiting class that would look and seem like Ole Miss football 2012

Yeah but OM went from barely making a bowl to getting those classes. We at least can say “Hey we just went to the final four”

From Rob Pate on 247 ( I’m assuming the real, most notable Rob Pate)

“I was told by someone that would know that Cooper reclassifying is not happening. Not sure if a smokescreen but he said Cooper to the 2019 class has never been an option. Says it’s AU or UK and it will be a battle.”

As long as we get Rayjon Tucker I won’t be quite as worried about getting Cooper for the 2019 class

Hooks is in the know and around the program a lot but isn’t as in the know as some people seem to think. The coaching staff is well aware he posts everything to ITAT and proceeds with caution with what they let him see. He mainly just goes to all the practices which are open anyways

We offered 4* 2020 PG Devion Smith today. If Coooer doesn’t reclass, that could mean he’s our backup plan.

If Cooper doesn’t reclassify, that would put him in Cooper’s same class, which makes me think that maybe Cooper will reclassify...either that or we think UK gets Cooper.

Auburn booster. I’ve heard he helped save Bruce’s job but that’s probably fiction.

I believe it was Hooks who posted Leath's personal email for people to yell at him

I don't think he saved Bruce by himself but I definitely think his F Leath, Team Bruce campaign he led galvanized BP support that made him unfireable.

I know someone who works with basketball, Hooks is significantly more tapped in than this.

He knows when to put a lid on things. Everything he shares is always super pro AU and basically the propaganda good news they want to share but aren't allowed to

He doesn't have the credits to graduate early.

Rayjon is really high on us. Pretty much couldn't ask for a better Bryce replacement if he comes.

They play two different positions. Getting Tucker would really help out the loss of our 2-3 Brown and Dunbar.

Cooper, we need as a PG with a super high playing ability.

Just watching many of the later games. I got to give some love to McCormick. Dude was fearless. Nobody talks about him. The NM State game, the Florida game, the SEC Championship. He was awesome. I hope he runs the point next year.

The thinking here is just having a go-to scorer to fill in for Brown. I’m really worried about late shot clock offense though. Harper was a freaking master late in the season in late shot clock situations.

McCormick definitely matured as the season went on. He was a little sloppy and careless with the ball early on.

Gotta love recruiting, talked to a buddy of mine that works at MHS and is in the coaching circles(not basketball) and he said Cooper was thinking about leaving MHS for his senior year and it caused some friction between the coach, his dad, and the principal. Then I brought up that I heard he may reclassify and his response was, "that's probably what he'll do, reclassify and go to Auburn to play with Isaac".

So TIFWIW, who knows

You have been right in the past about local high school issues in Georgia. Let’s hope you are right this time.

McCormick was a stone cold killer in the post-season. His game was reminding me a little of the current Isaiah Thomas in a few of those game
