He’s fairly athletic. Can dunk to top off a great night.
Has a decent shot too.
Long live the white caboose.

Its crazy how even the quality of the walk-ons have improved so much under Pearl. Myles Parker is better than half the scholarship players from the Barbee era

I loved watching Chris Denson and Kenny Gabriel play but man they had absolutely nobody surrounding those guys.
Hats off to Josh Wallace, Allen Payne, Adrian Forbes, etc. they worked hard and gave a full effort but just didn’t belong on the floor as much as they were used

Danjel Purifoy's mom potentially fricking up again, attempting to profit off his likeness and possibly violating NCAA rules

Purifoy’s mother, Waukesha Blevins, had posted on Facebook multiple times about selling T-shirts with Purifoy’s image. In the images, he’s wearing an Auburn jersey. Purifoy’s previous suspension was also related to Blevins allegedly accepting money against NCAA bylaws.
quote:
College athletes and their families are not allowed to profit off of the likeness of an athlete.
NCAA Bylaw 12.1.1(h) states that “any commercial items with names, likenesses or pictures of multiple student-athletes ... may be sold only at the member institution at which the student-athlete is enrolled, institutionally controlled ... outlets or outlets controlled by the charitable or educational organization. ... Items that include an individual student-athlete's name, picture or likeness ... other than informational items (e.g., media guide, schedule cards, institutional publications), may not be sold.”

she’s not the brightest crayon in the box. I don’t think this will be that big of a deal though

Purifoys are singlehandedly trying to delegitimize NCAA amateurism by their selves.

It actually looks like she might have sold them at cost. Still a violation but this isn't gonna be a big deal

She lives in Bibb County on purpose. That's all the info you should need to answer that question.

Proposed new 3 pt line won't change Bruce Pearl's style
quote:
MIRAMAR BEACH, Florida — Bruce Pearl is not concerned about a massive change that could adversely affect the bread-and-butter of his offense.
The NCAA is one step closer to moving the 3-point line back more than one foot to 22 feet, 1 3/4 inches next season. A final vote will be tallied June 5, but the proposal is expected to receive a rubber stamp of approval.
Why the change? Teams are simply hitting too many shots beyond the arc. NCAA Division I teams hit an average of 34.4 percent of its 3-pointers last season while Auburn drilled 38.1 percent during its run to the Final Four.
quote:
“It’ll affect us like it did last time,” Pearl said Tuesday at the SEC’s spring meetings. “We’ll probably shoot a few fewer because the guys will have a little less confidence that they can make it. And the shooting percentage will go down a couple of points.”
Auburn was a 3-point monster in the SEC, and can thank its hot shooting for it success in the SEC and NCAA tournaments. Senior Bryce Brown was particularly prolific. He hit 41 percent of his 3-pointers last season while breaking the school record for 3-pointers made in a season and a career. He finished second in SEC history with 382 three-pointers in his career.
The No. 1 player in the SEC is another former player under Pearl: Tennessee’s Chris Lofton.
quote:
The NCAA last moved the 3-point line in 2007, when it moved back one foot to 20 feet, 9 inches.
“I’m still going to play the same way,” Pearl said. “I’m still going to believe in it. I think it’s important to space the floor. At the same time, you’ve got to scratch where it itches as our old friend Hayden Fry said. If I’ve got guys who can’t shoot it, they’re not going to. We’ve got to work on our range during the offseason. It’ll take a year or two for the percentages to go right back to where they were.”

This is good for Auburn and good 3FG teams long run
Auburn will be able to space the floor more and absolutely punish teams who can't match AU athletically
