A win against the #1 team again is gonna be so much better for the resume than a win over a Bama team that loses to miss state

A loss versus Miss St would give the playoff committee zero reason to pick a 1 loss Bama over 2 loss Auburn.

We mainly need Miami to beat ND and/or Wisky to lose in the Big Ten championship.

I think........yes. Auburn will be the only team in the nation to take down two #1 teams, provided Auburn wins the IB.

I gotta be honest. I want to win the national championship, but it’s lower on my list of goals.

Win the SEC.
Beat Bama.
Beat Georgia.
Beat LSU.

I’d we do those, I’m happy.

So with that said, frick Alabama. Unless them winning gets us into the SECCG, then frick em and feed them goat aids.

Beating a #1 ranked Georgia,#1 ranked Bama and then top 6 Georgia. No one could keep us out.

We should be no. 6 this week. Still an opportunity to leap UGA in Atl. We would still need another to lose. If Bama loses tonight and in the iron bowl, we are in

1 Bama
2 Clemson
3 Miami
4 Oklahoma
5 Wisconsin
6 Auburn
7 UGA

Of course we could be 7, with UGA 6

No if State wins they will be top 10 or very close. Bama will still be a huge win and after what we did today we aren't gonna need any help if we win out.

Plus like others have said it would shut down any possibility bama backs in even if they lost to us.

Falling six spots when losing by 23 and trailing by 30 for most of the game seems to be too little.

The only team we are rooting for is Michigan to beat Wisconsin.

The only real threat to us making CFP if we win out is Wisconsin winning out or Ohio St jumping us.

CFP Predictions if Wisc loses to UM
- Clemson
- Miami
- Oklahoma
- AU/Bama/UGA

Bama/Miss State is in the books now, but I will always maintain that if you want to BE the best, you have to BEAT the best. Let's just worry about our games (versus what scenarios might or might not play out); that's enough.
