Never said it didn't, just not worth all the wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth.

Saban didn't paint Cam and Fairley on their walls though.

I must have missed the part where McCarron and Lacy were featured on the wall.

Maybe you can point it out to me, genius.

C'mon, Rocky... you're old enough to understand the eternal self-victimhood of Auburn fans.

All Bama fans gotta do is say "lil bro" under their breath and that gets some AU fans dancing on their strings like little orange-and-blue marionettes.

I tend to be that way a bit about places and people I actually care about.

"We have an opponent in this state that we work every day, 365 days a year, to dominate."

What a loser the guy who said that must be.

FWIW, the very first picture the team sees when entering the locker room in JH after Tiger Walk shows a group of AU players gang tackling a player from UAT.

(unless they have changed it since I was last in the locker room)

I can understand some people don't like it, but all this bitching is a little much. I'm no fan of it, but this stuff happens with rivals all the time.

With that said, let's move on to something else...like why we don't have a damn baseball coach yet

This sign is a piece of shite and just one of the many reasons why Auburn athletics sucks arse. I want a sign that says Beat Vanderbilt for Christ's sake. This is embarrassing to the highest degree.

Yeah I couldn't disagree more. It's a rivalry and normally our last regular game of the year. Its important to finish out the season on a high note and either into a bowl game or into the next season.

I don't have a problem with this sign, it can symbolize quite a few things. If this sign really rustles your jimmies, perhaps you take Auburn Football a tad bit too seriously?

Bama, our biggest rival on and off the field with recruiting, shut us out last year in the worst Iron Bowl loss ever. This is no different than putting up flyers that said "Never Forget" or whatever UA did. Just more blatant. I don't feel like a "little brother" and any bammers who say this would find something else to use the "little brother" tag their so fond of it not this.

Besides, who cares what the fans think. If it motivates the players that's all that matters.

I would much prefer a beat Arkansas sign. Start small and work our way up.

Maybe we should just put our weekly opponent.Like beat Wazzou cause if we lose that game it is going to be a long season.

I think it is on that wall so it is the first thing the players see when they walk into the meeting room.

I like it for several reasons: 1) I want them to want to beat Alabama; 2) since 2008 teams that have beaten Alabama have gone on to have great seasons.

So motivating our team to beat the best team in the nation who also happens to be our hated rival is embarrassing and little-brotherish?
