Well. I’m just one old man but I will tell you my approach

As for your nephews. frick em. They are not your kids and Saturday night is your time

Now, when your daughter starts to perform. Go. Man just go. You can record the games and watch them later. I’m not trying to cast a dark cloud on this but I would give anything to be able to watch my daughter wave her arms around.

Don’t miss anything. It can be taken away so fast you won’t believe it. You will end up a old man like me who works 80 hours a week just so he don’t think about what’ he lost.

Business is growing. Which is a great thing but I’m struggling trying to keep inventory levels up. Spending money like crazy.

Glad to hear that the business in growing L! Think I’ll place an order for a couple hand painted cranks and a few spinners/buzz baits tomorrow.

I was gracefully granted the day off tomorrow. Heading out early to fish for a while. Cool front coming through....but whatever. Should be nice and peaceful

My mother in law actually asked my wife if I was even going to watch my little girl next year. Trust me I don’t want to go and am butthurt about going, but you’re right, and my wife probably would’nt let me not go anyhow. Mother in law is actually right, but her implication that my priorities were screwed up over the nephews like I would consider being a shite dad just for wanting to watch Auburn football pisses me the hell off.

Scheduling football games on Saturday night should be a crime. I actually helped coach my little girl’s T-ball game. Am I more enthused to being there when convenience is of no issue. Yes. But also got up for her when she cried all night. I don’t have hobbies either. Haven’t gone hunting in years.

Thanks. For those that are are younger, be warned of marrying into redneck school systems.

Thanks. We have really been growing and Alabama has been a big part of it. For any of you who has grabbed a pack of my baits off a shelf over there, I do appreciate it.

Man, I’ve enjoyed coaching my sons in football. They don’t play games at night. Here it’s right in the middle of the day. It’s brutal for the kids and us coaches. Both my boys have won championships in the past couple years, so it’s been a good distraction to watching Auburn struggle.

I didn’t think anyone would want to pay the power bill for little ones to play under the lights.

I need a fricking son. Thats another issue.

I usually go to the nephews practices and I work with them, but I must say, it’s been eye opening. I don’t want to give off too strong of takes from my anecdotal experiences but their practices are much different than mine. It is a younger guy that is head coaching after all. Their first portion of practices are for offense BUT they don’t actually practice. They run plays like it’s a 7 on 7. Their playbook is actually legit to have noodle arm Qb that cannot actually throw. All portions are live but the OL and scout team defense rarely get any instruction whatsoever. Same for the defensive portions. But so far the team kicks arse mainly because the skill position players are pretty good.

Lastly, like 10 of the kids are already wearing the McCaffery- like headbands lol.

I’m the coach that the moms hate. I’m too hard on little Johnny. But the kids love me, and the dads love seeing their boys win a lot.

NVM I thought it was your kid cheering this year. My bad.

But even next year...if it's your daughter, you drop whatever and go watch your baby girl.

War Eagle spinnerbaits 4 lyfe!

I use the spotsticker jigheads (when I have to). but I haven’t been fishing since Feb. tendinitis and a bad club schedule have kept me at home. Been on the Cahaba in a canoe with the wife, but all we throw is 1/8 Oz buzzbaits there. Strike King is the only one that makes those I believe.
