I am not sure he is over worked. he is not even in the top 12 of innings pitched in the SEC. He also has not even averaged 6 innings a game over 11 games.
I think the hitters are just locking in better, and instead of him giving up 0-2 runs, lately he has given up 2-4 runs when he has pitched. I do think pitchers can hit a wall, if they are in new territory of innings pitched, and some get their second wind....some don't.

Pitches mean far more than innings. He's routinely throwing over 100. Hitters have learned that he is will to throw a lot of pitches to get strikeouts and have been running his count up.

I mean we are 5 conference wins away from potentially hosting in baseball...

We needed a big bounce back game. Hopefully it carries over to the uga series. We likely need 4 more regular season conference wins and then likely 2 more the conference tournament in order to host.

add to that this:
1. have not scored more than 4 runs in 11 of last 14 games
2. have scored a total of 14 runs in those 11 games
3. have had no more than 4 hits in 9 of those games
And this is with a veteran lineup. This coaching staff has not helped these ladies overcome the mental part of a slump..as they continue to falter terribly.
