Anyone know what’s up with him?

Upper body contusion? Essentially a bruise. Question is whether or not it’s actually a bruise or a tear of some sort and we will probably never be told.

Guessing he plays this week

Hopefully the bruise isn’t caused by a tear, you never know with Gus and him trying to hide our injuries.

Tough SOB wanted to play through it then they found out it was much, much worse than they thought.

Yeah, that put a bad taste in my mouth since I remember thinking to myself, "why won't this pussy strap up and go try to help his team? Must be saving himself for the league." Then I felt like a POS for even thinking it when we found out it was much worse than initially reported. I don't remember if they knew for a while and we're just sandbagging or what. But it really pissed me off they drug it out so long before confirming the rumors that we're going around.

I’m fuzzy on the details but I don’t think they knew it could be broken until it wasn’t getting better. Pretty rare injury at that age

In the Gus era I’ve learned to just assume they are out for their career as soon as they are pulled from the game. That’s not just lip service, that’s just where my mind goes as soon as someone is called day-to-day. It’s not a conscious decision. It’s always a nice surprise when someone actually does come back.

I'm already worrying about if they've notified Bailey Sharp's next of kin
