That's awesome. IMO part of what made Brown great will probably prevent him from sitting the bowl.

I’d love to see him play for Auburn one more time, but he needs to sit this last game out. He has given us more than we could ever wished for

No-brainer. DB is one of the best DL I've ever seen play ball.
He will be missed and deserves all the accolades coming his way.

Derrick Brown is the strongest ancillary DL in the defense’s purpose. Let him play, and let us win. Auburn fan first; DB fan second.
Though I won’t mind if he did choose to sit, I just don’t see him doing it.

Id like to see him play too. If he sits, I get it. But Id love to see our team have another Perdue moment and go out balling

DB gave 100% for 12 extra games when he didn’t have to. Don’t see him sitting.
Kerryon was banged up in 17 and still played his bowl game.
There is a deeper appreciation for those who do that than say Carlton Davis who was also a critical piece, but sat anyway. That’s my opinion.

I really liked Fairley, but Brown is the best I have seen at Auburn since Tracy Rocker.

It’s hard for me to compare Brown and Nick. Brown was much more of a stonewall that ate up blockers. Nick was doubles just as much as Brown but he was incredible at causing chaos, getting penetration, and finishing the play.
