Time to work out a home-and-home with your alma mater.

Beatbammer will be along shortly to tell you it had nothing to do with JJ. Just a coincidence that Marsh was racking up natties every year and then decided to leave his empire after JJ arrives

I don't apologize for basing my view on publicly know facts rather than prejudicial supposition and guessing.

Bring me something more than "well, the pool cleaner's mother's cousin said..." and then we can talk.

You might as well give up on that fantasy. We've tried several times to get a H&H with the Irish, and they've flat out refused.

Time to hire a new women's bball coach. There was no reason to loose today's game. No changes when it mattered , players looked timid out there...

I'm not ready to give up on coach Flo. To me any non revenue sports that aren't either routinely bottom third in conference or bringing scadales on Auburn or maintaining a good APR is in decent enough shape to maintain status quo.

Why should we be pleased with mediocrity in a sport whether it's revenue or non-revenue generating?

Under Flo we've underperformed, had rumors of locker room scandal, etc. We have tradition in women's basketball and should expect and demand consistent success

Because the reward is rarely worth the effort.

It may be time for us to go another direction but there won't be any public push for it.

That was then. This is now.

Q: Given the outcome of the 2012 national championship, would you ever try to schedule Alabama?

A: Alabama is one of those opponents we would love to play. I hope we do get that done. It was interesting to see the list of teams we’ve never played (from the SEC, which include Mississippi State, Auburn and Kentucky). I frankly didn’t know it. I have a great relationship with the Auburn athletic director (Jay Jacobs), and I’d love to figure out how to do that. There’s something to be said for ticking off everyone on that list until you can say you’ve done it over the history of this program.

You would think AD Allen Greene would be even more prone to be able to make the match-up happen.

It’s looking like Georgia and Bama both will be top ten-ish teams on our schedule for a while. And then you have Jimbo at aTm, Mississippi State will stay relevant, and LSU will pick back up. So frick playing any OOC team with a pulse while other teams like UCF become the media darlings for not making the playoff even though they didn’t play anybody. While we’re at it, frick playing an extra conference game as well unless we are moved to the east
