Always will be remembered as bring us to the cusp of greatness.

But never fully breaking through. Not sure where this program is headed now considering how much talent we have on the roster but one of two things happen.

We hire a stellar coach and continue with nobody transferring.

Or we have an underwhelming hire, ladies transfer, and Auburn softball returns to its dormant state

Didn't he just sign an extension like a month ago?

I think it's pretty obvious the stuff with his son spurred it on.

It's so Auburn it hurts.

Do we hire the other son as head coach? That's the question

since it`s softball we may never find out a lot of details but a lot of incidents and now an abrupt resignation.

Good question, no idea. I'm just glad it looks like Auburn got out of the Myers deal with no lawsuits and no Title IX investigations. For the record, I think that unless Clint was just naive as hell, he knew shenanigans were going down so as good of a coach as he is, in a way a cloud is passing away from the program.

I hope you are correct, but I would not be too quick to assume that.

Does this mean this place can stop pretending to care about softball?

Could you post that one more time?

And, no, some of us will actually still attend games.
