I want Gus gone as much as the next person, but I'm not gonna start apologizing for UGA '13, the Kick Six, or LSU '16. Frick that. There's more than enough L's to be focused on, no need to bring those 3 games into the convo

I wonder if the better way is to just make it a thing to not buy auburn merchandise?

Could that be a thing? Would it work?

Remember a few years ago when Michigan students launched a protest to fire their then athletic director? I think one student even wore an Ohio State shirt until he resigned.

Well, I wish the student body would organize a similar protest for JJ. If a few thousand students showed up outside the athletics building, and the media covered it well, I feel like the only choice would be for him to resign... Similar to what happened at Michigan.

The head coach in west Alabama would have thrown the podium through the wall after a performance like that.

God, I fricking hate this portion of our fanbase.

The petition is almost at 2,000.

I doubt this does any good, but I do wonder at what point it would make the powers that be take notice -- 5,000, 10,000 more? I'd be shocked if it goes above 3,000.

I do wonder why people who are sick of Gus continue to go to the games. I've ALWAYS been an optimist when it comes to AU football, but honestly, don't even care to watch the UGA and Bama games this season.

If all the disgruntled AU fans didn't show up to those two games, wouldn't that make a statement?
