I think the criticism is of the refs
Stevie Pearl got a tech and is still isn't clear why. He wasn't yelling at the ref nor a TAMU player

The tech on Steven was outrageous. Unless he calmly yelled some obscene stuff, it was out of the blue.

I was there. This did NOT change the game.
We were at home.
This happened with over 15 minutes left in the game.
We were only up 1 at the time, and down 3 after.
We got within 2 numerous times to the end of the game.
No, the problem was they got key baskets when they needed them. We just couldn't stop them enough times.
And the final problem again is that the refs got too involved on tacky fouls that had no impact at the time, and got some of our guys in foul trouble.

The reason we were playing soft was the ticky tacky fouls though. We couldn't be close to one of their palyers without a whistle.
