Just watched his Q & A session with the press.
Young man is poised, relaxed, confident in his position and situation. The young man isn't cocky or unrealistic with the circumstances he has ahead of him. He is a Proven Quarterback and I see old school football mentality and toughness. WDE!!!

Proven part is still to be decided in my book. Do I think he has it? Yes, but he still has to prove it at the college level.

If any of you haven't yet you should really watch his season on Elite 11. I believe the whole season is on youtube.

Elite 11

He was very poised on that as well and thrived in competition. I knew he was going to be special but I did not think he would get handed the starting spot as a true freshman.

Wreck. Their. Shite. Bo.

EDIT: Earned the starting spot, not handed.

He hasn't played a game in college yet.

These other SEC schools are worried. They know Auburn is good when they are barely talked about.

Then, on top of that, they are super jelly.

LSU aint done sh*t.
UGA sh*ts the bed.
Alabama got blown out in the NCG.

And the rest, they are nothing burgers!

I think he's referring to Bo's QB skills rather than the level of competition hes played. Bo comes in with the a similar high school pedigree as Tua, Trevor Lawrence and Fromm. Not saying it necessarily translates to College the same as it did for those guys, but I'm cautiously optimistic hes going to be solid.

He is already a better athlete, passer, field reader, intuitive, scrambler that other seasoned players in college football.

His father has raised an intelligent and respectful YOUNG man. Auburn is where he wanted to play.

He could be Tom Brady, but he isn't proven until he's done something on the college level.

FIFY

I have faith in in Bo and hope he shows out and has an amazing year. But let's not put the cart before the horse. He is super talented and seems smart, but he hasn't proven anything in the college. He is about to step into SEC football. Theres a difference.

I have no expectations, I will not get my hopes up until I see what he can do in a game. Getting my enthusiasm crushed by Jeremy Johnson still stings a little.

Brady wasn't even that great on the college level.

Remember when Jeremy Johnson was supposed to be an all SEC quarterback? I do... I also remember when Sean White won MVP in the elite 11.. Nix May be the next great qb for Auburn but I guarantee you there will be bumps in the road. think we need to take a wait and see approach.

Yes but those guys were in a different system and coached by different coaches than .......

(Never mind)

Kidding. I think Bo is different. He will be better than anyone but Cam in Gus’ system.

Completely irrelevant to my point.

I mean Sean White wasn’t a bad QB at all, he was just a little scrawny for D1 play. Injuries held him back.

Agreed with everything about Nix though. With any luck he’ll do well enough to win and create a few moments of excitement, but I expect at least one or two “wtf” moments in the first couple of games. Comes with the TF territory

there will definitely be some headscratching moments based on him being a freshman and that he's thrown some INTs already in preseason scrimmages. there's bound to be growing pains, but i think there is even an upside to those INTs at this point - to me it indicates he's willing to take risks, something that will be a fresh break from stidham's tendency to hold the ball no matter what. if he has the grit of shawn white, he's gonna go far. he has the potential to be a better passer than stidham plus more foot speed, that alone sounds like a dangerous combination.

check back with me in week 3 to know how i really feel about those INTs, though.

Lol can’t be proven until you actually step on the field with the lights on and play SEC talent
