It's not that long ago, but 2 plays that set up one of the biggest historical plays in Auburn lore (KICK 6):

2:32 left in the game, Nosa Eguae blocks a FG attempt w/ Alabama up 7. If he makes it, we are down 10 points and no way we come back to win.

7 secs left: Before the FG attempt, Yeldon runs down the sideline, is pushed out of bounds, presumably running out the clock, taking us into OT. Guess who knocked him out of bounds to eventually allow us :01 left on the clock....Chris Davis.

Don't forget their receiver in the endzone in OT who had the ball hit him in the chest and did not catch it

That’s a good one

Jerraud Powers corner of the end zone interception against Alabama in 2007, took the ball (and a TD) out of DJ Hall’s hands

Trey Blackmon forced fumble and recovery against UF 2006

Walter McFadden interception (ball bounced up off the receiver) return for a TD against Ole Miss 2009

Whatever the hell happened to allow us to defeat a really good South Carolina team in 2011

Dude I graduated high school with forced the fumble (marquis gunn)... I was halfway down the 2nd upper deck to take a piss... sprinted back up to celebrate.

That whole 2005 uga game was awesome.

Ironbowl 1997.

Auburn is down 17-15. Auburn was out of timeouts and it was 3rd and 8 and Bama snapped the Ball with :50 on the clock. They call a screen pass, Montavius Houston forces the fumble at 33 yard line.

My first Iron Bowl and I would say my favorite game I have ever been to.

critical play, though probably not forgotten and certainly not the flashiest:

the Antoine Carter forced fumble of Mark Ingram in the 2010 Iron Bowl, recovered by Demond Washington, I think? Kept us from going down 28-0, which given the final score may have been a lead we couldn’t surpass. I was at the game live, but in all the replays seem to recall Gary Danielson stroking his stuff to Mark Ingram’s stellar record of not fumbling earlier in the game

I was at this game. I seem to remember that we had beaten the crap out of their qb, Parker. He was tough as nails to stay in the game, but had a guy wide open crossing the end zone in OT and led him too much. The receiver had a shot at it, but it would have been a really nice catch.

That headhunting motherfricker would lay the wood on you with the quickness.

Not forgotten by any means, but that hit on Reggie Brown in the DSOR was the only time I have ever thought "I just watched someone die on the gridiron."

Interestingly enough, UCF's DC in that one was none other than Gene Chizik.
