I would definitely be there. I'm sure we would sell out this game, but it would be interesting to see just how tough of a ticket it would be.

My philosophy is that any bowl is better than no bowl at all. I would definitely prefer Nashville or Memphis to B-ham or Shreveport, although I would go to either of the 4. What if we were picked for the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville? AU actually has a lot of history with the Gator with 6 appearances (and none since 1974).

It'll be interesting to see where 6 or 7 wins gets us. I think 7 could actually get us a decent bowl. 6 wins and I wonder if Slive and company would push for us to go to B-ham, with proximity and all, but I would think Nashville and Music City would find us more attractive than some of the other schools and pick us before them.

Auburn fans travel well so that might keep us out of Birmingham if Nashville or the Gator are interested. Aside from, Shreveport I think it's a win/win for the SEC.

O man, I'm sorry. That was horrible for me on my couch. Can't imagine if I had been there. Freaking 1 inch.

Yep, I'll go.. I'd prefer the Music City Bowl if we're taking it to that level. Just prefer Nashville.

Actually, Sanders had it by about 1/2 yard.

But the ol' Pat Dye adage about playing Bama (and their refs) comes into play in that case... if you need a yard against Bama, you'd better get three.

Shreveport sure.

I don't think you fully appreciate what you're saying. I grew up there and its a great place to live, but a terrible place to visit. There's not a single hotel there I can recommend to folks to stay in.
