Could be wrong but I think Okie St. would have to release him from his NLI for him to play immediately somewhere else.
NCAA often gives waivers when this happens.

So they are going to give Sharife and Thor waivers when we get our postseason ban?

Postseason ban would suck and all, but Okie state got hit with the loss of 3 schollies over 3 years, that's even worse to me. And total ridiculous given what happened with them.

Has anybody seen, literally, anything on Okeke’s rehab and return to the Magic? They have kept him on lockdown. I didn’t realize it, but he turned down his rookie contract to give the Magic flexibility in free agency to sign key players. The Rookie salary scale is jumping up for 2020, so the team and Chuma will benefit. Classy kid. He must have had some contract with d-league I’d think.

Q: What have you been doing to keep busy the last month or two?
Okeke: Before everybody went on lockdown, I moved to Orlando from Lakeland. The Orlando staff bought me weights, they bought me a bike, and sent it to my house. They gave me workouts to do every day, both upper body and lower body. There's no gym I go to. I just use the garage as a gym with the stuff that they provided.
Q: Where are you at with the rehab process?
Okeke: Before the lockdown, I was shooting in the gym and I felt pretty good shooting, getting off the floor. I was going through drills somewhat full speed. It felt good. I don't know what percent I'm at right now because it's been awhile since I've even shot a ball. I've just been working out and conditioning.
Moving to Orlando from Lakeland where he was rehabbing with the Magic's G League team has to be a good sign

Thanks, hopefully this slow process really sets him up for success in recovery. Definitely a good sign he finally moved to Orlando.

Hopefully Bruce is BLM protesting with Fig and sealing deals.
Jake Crain says Both Gach is more than likely going to stay up north. Also said there is skepticism on whether his waiver would get approved.

Kuminga has officially reclassified to 2020
Is this good, bad, or neutral news for us?

Good for our chances with him. But sounds like it’s stilll going to be G-League anyway. We’re running third.

Per JLee AU has stopped recruiting LJ Fig because the staff now thinks the chances are low he would get a waiver to play immediately in the SEC.

Hooks just said "it is very likely we will get a postseason ban."

That's fricking ridiculous if we do. We didn't benefit as program and did everything we could to do the right thing once we found out.
All the blue bloods will skate, but they have to make sure a successful big conference team gets nailed so they can say "seeee we did do something" and we make the perfect scapegoat since we've had so much success the last couple years but are the new kids on the top 25 block
If we get hammered and LSU walks then Mark Emmert needs to be investigated for corruption bc he's shielding tf out of them

Totally agree, as does Hooks. I'm sure we will fight it tooth and nail.
