was told SDSU has a center we're interested in, but we'll likely bring 2 in.

Hopefully so, I definitely don't want to be in a situation where we are an injury away from Scott being our starting center.

Is it the Gwath guy they were talking about with SDSU?

I've heard there are a few upper classmen that have reached out to us, but wasn't given any names. I would pay attention to Yaxel at UAB if he tries to get extra eligibility for his Juco playing time.

If Yaxel could get more eligibility because of his Juco years, a combo of someone like him plus a developmental guy like Gwath would be an ideal scenario indeed.

Gwath is a guy that looks like he could be an absolute beast if he can put on another 25 pounds or so.

Why would Yaxel not get an additional year? How is he any different than Denver/CBM?

He has to actually want to/be willing to be come back as well. That's probably why Smuphy is saying he's hearing it's not a sure thing CBM is back. These guys are pretty old for college students and may be ready to move on, particularly in the case of someone like CBM who is already 25.

Ideally all of them come back and we can have all of them on our team, but we'll see.

That is exactly what I was saying, Yaxel is getting some NBA talk so we'll see there.

Id say right now there is about a 40% chance CBM comes back.

It sure looks like cbm is coming back next year

Generally these guys need to move on.... but I'm not going to complain too much if we benefit lol. I could do without him playing PG though. That must mean Denver might not be back.

IDK if this would affect recruiting any, but SP is a candidate for Murray State

Think it started when Murray State twitter wouldn't post the final score. Auburn twitter descended and razed Murray State twitter until they posted the final. Bonds developed and peace offered.

Or maybe I'm misremembering.

Murrray state would be a great place for Steven to go and cut his teeth. They have expectations there much like he would have at AU. Plus he needs to build his own coaching network because unless a great collapse happens he will be the next AU coach after Bruce. Go coach 2-4 years there come back and take over with under Bruce for a year then take over the head job. Bruce has a younger wife he ain’t gonna coach until he’s close to 80

Yep, Steven getting some HC time will quiet the naysayers when he comes back to AU as HC in 2-5 years.

Still think Steven needs at least 2 years at a mid major. Would be great if he landed a spot somewhere in the southeast. To keep recruiting ties.
