Bruce has good success with JUCO transfers. This kid can shoot the lights out and his brother is a player as well. Likely Auburn gets both.

I’m starting to think we end up with another top 10 roster next year

Yeah it kind of is. Juco basketball isn’t Juco baseball. Maybe there are better areas that have Juco teams but many of them are absolutely horrible.

I love these Kamala Harris style scouting reports.

Abdul Bashir dropped in 46 today. He played the whole game without a sub. Half of Casper College's basketball team was suspended for this game. Casper played with 4 regular team players and 3 soccer players. They won 99-93.

Something happened between Casper college and Gillette college. The colleges won't say what but some players from both teams violated the NJCAA sportsmanship policy. Casper didn't say how many of their players were suspended but Gillette had 9 players suspended.
Luckily Bashir wasn't involved.

Sounds like some beefing got out of hand

“The Casper College release does not state what led to the suspension or how many players were suspended. However, a release from Gillette Community College cited NJCAA’s Sportsmanship policy, specifically 2.A.1.a.

According to the NJCAA policies manual, the players’ actions constituted violent behavior through physical contact or attempt to either make physical contact to damage, intimidate, fight or otherwise harm a player, a coach, a referee, a spectator or game management personnel or damage property.”

I got the games mixed up. 99-93 was between Casper and Gillette on the 15th Feb.
The game where Bashir scored 46 was on the 22nd Feb. with a score of 72-55.

I'm impressed, but reserving judgement until he gets into the SEC.

Pegues being unready for the level of competition has jaded me a bit.

Abdi Bashir has set the all time record for 3s
in one year at Monmouth at 104.
He scored 30 points and went 8-13 from 3 in his last game.
