Resident insider AUgirl7 from the 247 board shared her thoughts when someone asked her what's going on at AU.
"AU has problems at every level. This is what happens when you hire a coach that 1. Isn't interested in the day to day operations. 2. Doesn't hold people accountable for the day to day items. 3. Doesn't know what those people should be doing anyway. He just doesn't have enough experience and he is extremely involved in the offensive coaching. It isn't a problem to be extrwmemly involved in one phase of the team as long as you surround yourself with people that you can count on to handle the day to day items. Jacobs only answers to God, McGlynn thinks he is God, and Jackson is the devil."
Sounds like Muschamp was right when rumors were swirling that he didn't agree with the "day to day" operations and wanted to make changes but wasnt allowed.
She also said that people give credit to Jacobs for hiring Clint Meyers but Meyers begged for the job for 2 years prior to JJ conceding.

Jacobs is responsible for EVERYTHING bad.
Jacobs deserves no credit for ANYTHING good.

Yeah does this person have any credibility. To the extent there are known insiders on ITAT I'm aware of them, but I don't know much about 247

Can't give examples but 247 subscribers say she has been very accurate in past on coaching changes etc. I believe she works in athletic dept.

Why would anyone become a head coach if they aren't interested in the day to day operations of running a team? Granted I would probably just want to draw up new versions of the jet sweep all day if I had that dumb hick Jay Jacobs poking his goofy face in my office everyday.

She may know something but it is amazing how someone just mix together rumors and throw in a few things that's obvious and everyone takes it as gold.
Just like the "Unless something changes last minute it's a done deal..." claims, where no one can tell they lied when it doesn't happen.

Were the insiders that inaccurate though? Kelly very well could've been close to accepting the deal we were offering until he thought about it more.
Kelly certainly showed strong interest in the opening to the point an offer was on the table.

She has been accurate on 247 but rarely says anything as forward as that...she normally says what is obvious about 10 minutes before it comes down.
I personally believe she is an alter for Ron Sanders. They share a similar tone to their post. They also both seem to show genuine enjoyment in posting when coaches are struggling and a dismissal might be possible.

Even if she works in the AD, it doesn't mean she knows shite.
