This is a problem.

Gus goes full retard on the road.

We havent won in BR in 20 years (I know he isnt responsible for most of this but still.)

We havent won in Athens since 2005

We havent won in Tuscaloosa since 2010

This has to stop.

THIS. IS. A. RECURRING. ISSUE.

Why do you think we cant win on the road vs BIG 6 competition.

Kristi Malzahn, we know how you feel so please do not respond.

It's on Gus.

Not sure how to blame him for BR curse, but I do.

Was that when Brandon Cox and Aramashadou (probably spelled incorrectly) connected on a 4th and long?

Tuberville at least knew how to go into an opposing venue and beat a better team in a hostile environment

I agree. Besides @ Alabama in 2010 it's been a drought.

Gus has had the best chances to end the BR drought, but has come up short every time.

I will have a problem if we lose to Georgia at home this year. I'm still not sure that replacing Gus is a good idea, but I could be persuaded if he loses that game.

I will never forget that game. Never. I still have the images of Verne and Gary dancing in my head.

No more away games this season. He needs to win at home to go 3-1 vs. Bama and UGA at home. Then figure out how to get a road win next year.

Tubs on the road with a beat up left for dead team was when he was the most dangerous.

Wife told me she would never go to another game in Athens.

We were screamed at, barked at , cursed at on our way back to the car after that game.

But we can beat 3 #1 teams at home. How many have other #1 teams have other coaches beat?

Wife and I swore the same thing after 2003 (another ugly game). We were harassed walking across campus on the way to the game. Granted that there are obnoxious elements in every fan base, but we've had AU season tickets since 2004 plus attending the DSOR in 2001, 2002, and 2003, and I swear that despite UGA representing less than 10% of the games we've attended, 90% of the bad and obnoxious fan behavior we've seen has come from those wearing red and black.

Those wins vs number 1 teams is just outliers, the truth is Gus will lose 4-5 games annually and his offense is not what it use to be. Struggle games vs teams like Jacksonville St., Mercer, Tulane, Tennessee, Ole Miss etc. are more common than beating number 1 teams. The game has passed him by and he has been unable to adjust. The only success he's had at the QB position has been juco transfers and they regressed in year two of Gus' system.
