You are going to be so upset when Arkansas announces him as their new HC tomorrow. I promise that all of you pro-Gus folks care way more about him than he does about you or Auburn...

it's a hell of a lot more than I expected. I knew there would be a few melting, but nothing like this. If Gus had pulled some bonehead move that cost us the game, I could understand it.

Anybody who watched that game, and didn't notice that we just got dominated on the lines, wasn't paying attention. That's not on coaching. That's on the players.

I don't want him gone for obvious reasons, but this shite has to stop.

The players were emotionally and physically exhausted. You could see it. This game was not on Gus.

I don't want Gus gone. I think he did an excellent job in the past few weeks. The problem today seemed to be lack of motivation by the players. That may be on Gus, but our DL and OL seemed to get whipped, which is strange.

He was 2 games from being fired this year. I wouldn't give him another penny till he proves it next year

Yes let me add the trophy to the "it has been a fun year" mantle.

You should shut the frick up. That was the worst game plan in a de facto NC quarter final I've ever seen. And most of us aren't saying fire Gus, just don't overpay for a bumbling redneck high school coach that won a handful of meaningful games in 5 years.

Don’t wirry, he will get his 7 per and then we will get our shite pushed in 3 times next year on the road. he will be back on hot seat, except with a massive buyout.

I definitely did after LSU but I've changed my tune since then.
We need some stability, but we need to get special teams cleaned up somehow.

If someone told me at the beginning of the season we'd close out beating #1UGA and #1 Bama and then lost in the SECCG I'd have been just fine with it.

Hope players can heal up, Stidham sticks around, and we come in hard next year.

God damnit nobody wants to get rid of gus. But if he wants to go to Arkansas because he is unhappy then bye.

I'm ambivalent about Gus. Someone post his record vs Bama and Georgia. You'll be ambivalent too once you see it.

Exactly. The players looked unmotivated..and that's on the HC. Also since KJ was hurt we completely abandoned our running game. The biggest take away from Gus is he cannot preform on the biggest stage when it matters most. Before anyone brings up 2013 Mizzou we were clearly better Than them so that shouldn't even be a factor. I'd be fine with Gus staying, but I'm not sure he's a 6.5-7m coach.

This right here. I'm happy with him, but I'm not in love. If he wants to leave I'm fine letting him. I'm not in favor of paying him more. We could very easily lose our bowl game as it's going to be a tough match up. I'm not sure that's worth a huge raise.
