Not a soccer fan, but do love pro sports. Was it a good time? I was reading long term plans of the ownership is MLS. Atlanta tried to buy the team, but ownership told them to pound sand.

I was there. Had nearly 6k people there (sellout) it was a lot of fun. Then again, I was slightly hammered enjoying the supporters section.

Another home game next week, so you should definitely go check it out!

I don't know their intentions. Possibly capturing a rival market?

I will. Did the Iron this weekend, so my 6 year old was a bit tapped out.

It was full, from what I understand...but that's about all I could tell you. I never really had to go over that way. I was mainly using the other side of the field to go back and forth when I needed to

The little stadium looks nice. I was surprised to see the crowd so packed in the pictures I saw. I've never been a soccer fan but I may have to check out a game, looks like a good time.

Tickets sold out but were still relatively cheap. Beer was $3 and from what I heard it was rather relaxed in regards to hurdles to jump through.

Probably going to be a long year on the field wise, but hopefully there is enough support to allow ownership to dump more money into talent.

Yeah. But it was that shitty Good People beer, so still overpriced.

Bro,

Every time I think you’ve said the dumbest shite ever, you raise the bar. Bravo.

Personally, I can’t wait to see Legion Field retired. Not a big fan of Smithfield, but Fountain Heights around the Top Golf area isn’t much better. Bham PD at least tries to patrol that area for tourist purposes.

I really wish US pro soccer had a relegation system.

Would be legit to have the opportunity for a Birmingham soccer club to rise up into the big leagues

9 year old was smitten because the Ottawans were speaking to her in French lol.

Probably about 4000, which is pretty damn good for a USL game on a cold arse night. Supporters section and general admission were packed and loud.

Know that feel on a 3 year old. We have 4 girls (know my pain), 13 year old, 11 year old, 9 year old and 22 month old. Luckily, having a 13 year old pretty much means a built in baby sitter when momma and I need a night out.

I really wish MLS would try to build in smaller markets that don't have other pro sports teams like BHam.

MLS is the end goal for management. So go support.
